CRUDS has successfully implemented Crew Payroll automated solution integrating with AIMS Crew Scheduling System and SAP SCM for a leading airline in India.
Enterprise Systems like SAP SCM do not have out-of-box proficiency to automate airline crew payroll as it involves complex business logic and processes than involves both cabin and cockpit crew.
A custom web-based interface was developed for Crew Payroll Automation for all types of payments such as allowances, loss of pay, promotion data, deadhead & training allowances. This system integrates with AIMS Crew Scheduling System for Crew Roster data using REST APIs and calculates allowances for payroll based on crew eligibility which is pushed to SAP HCM via Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). Day wise retro feature was provided to fetch the delta after every month payroll for rectifications. Crew Roster Shift codes were also uploaded in the desired format for payroll calculations.
